​

Our Studio Assistants/Baristas are the friendly faces visitors meet first at Art Haven. These multi-talented team members greet visitors and walk them through the painting process, respond to questions with answers tailored to the specific ceramic/design, promote upcoming events, host parties, make bubble tea and drinks, as well as many behind-the-scenes duties that keep the ceramic process running smoothly.

-Inspire painters with ideas and techniques

-Communicate with energy and positivity

-Create a fun environment for all

-Assist fellow staff, directors and managers

 

Responsibilities and Duties

 

-Assisting Walk-in Customers with the Entire Painting Process 

-Answering Questions and Resolving Basic Issues

-Operating Point of Sale Systems and Handling Transactions

-Managing the Kiln-Firing Process and Schedule

-Promoting Upcoming Events

-Preparing for Parties and Events

-Hosting Parties for All Ages

-Assisting with Making Art Demos and Projects

-Maintaining Studio Standards, Organizing and Cleaning

-Making Bubble Tea & Other Drinks

 

Qualifications and Skills

 

-Ceramic Painting Courses/Experience or other Art-Related Diploma/Certificate is an ASSET

 

-High School Diploma Completed

 

-Experience in Customer Service/Sales

 

-Smart Serve is an ASSET

 

-Experience working with kids, working with large groups, or as a birthday party host.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

 

Salary: $14.00-$15.00 per hour
