Our exceptional Art Instructors are all about creating a fun, low stress, non-judgmental environment that inspires everyone to enjoy getting creative. Their passion for art and for teaching translates directly into their events. All of our instructors are artists themselves, with experience in a variety of media. Art Instructors collaborate with the Creative Director to deliver workshops, classes, and private events for adults, families, and children. Joining our team provides opportunities to explore, experiment, and have fun!
Job Purpose
-Engage and entertain students while learning about new techniques and materials
-Encourage creative and divergent thinking in the projects
-Communicate the material with energy and positivity
-Create exciting events alongside the Director that appeal to diverse groups
Responsibilities and Duties
-Planning enriching programs to develop students' skills
-Designing projects that can be completed successfully by individuals with varying abilities
-Writing comprehensive lesson plans
-Delivering quality programming that encourages individuals to enjoy the process, celebrate their skill level, and have fun making art
-Maintaining studio standards, organizing and cleaning
Qualifications and Skills
-Minimum 2 Years Arts Experience from 1. Enrollment in Post-Secondary Fine Arts or related program, and/or 2. Professional Practice/Employment
-Minimum 2 Years Experience Teaching in a related arts discipline
-Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
-Dependable, and love working with people

Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Salary: $14.00-$15.00 per hour
